Carrot Cake Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 carrot, cut + partially steamed (or just raw if you’re in a rush!)
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup egg whites
- 3 oz plain greek yogurt (1/2 small chobani container)
- 1 cup oats
- 1 tbsp wheat germ
- 1 tbsp flax
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Spices to your liking (I used mostly cinnamon with some allspice, nutmeg, and ginger)
- 2 tsp stevia
Use a blender to mix everything together until it’s a smooth, even texture. Then, pour out and cook on a non-stick pan or griddle with some olive oil.
Makes 10 (delicious) pancakes! Each one has 62 calories, 1 g fat, 3.5 g protein, and only 2 g of sugar.
There are good eaten plain, with some greek yogurt, sliced banana, maple syrup, walnuts, etc. Feel free to experiment :)
Personally, I would eat a few of these for breakfast along with scrambled eggs or oatmeal and some fruit!

ok so for a healthy diet, it was soo hard for me at first. a healthy diet doesn’t mean “omg i cant have an oreo or 2 today!” you can, it wont change anything, but just dont have 6 of them! i use to have junk food everyday, but now since my eating habits have changed and i switched those things out, i dont crave them anymore!
this is how i did it:
- i hate trying new things but i knew i had to open up my options- so i did. i started trying oatmeal, salad and more fruits and veggies! i use to hate carrots, but i knew they were good for me so i just kept trying them and trying them and the taste grew on me!
- drink loads of water- before you eat drink a glass(i know its plain, but after a while you will get use to it! i did, just like carrots) the water will fill u a little bit so you dont over eat.
all you have to do is limit your amount of things, look on the back of a product see what the serving size is. dont over eat the serving size, that is mainly how you get “over weight”. also exercise, i know you have heard this before but even if its for 10 minutes, just take a walk. after the walk do some sit ups/crunches.
tips:
- lower your serving size by using smaller plates/bowls. this will prevent you from filling up an entire big plate, to a serving size of a small plate.
-fill yourself up with some watermelon, strawberries, apples or grapes they are very sweet (like candy) but they fill u up very quickly and have very few calories!
next time you have a meal just think “how can i make this any healthier”
for example, when you have a sandwich use wheat bread instead of white, drink fat free milk instead of whole or 2%, have fat free cheese on your burger, have a veggie burger instead of beef, ect.
HOPE I COULD HELP! SORRY THIS IS VERY LONG(:
